June 26, 2007; Diva (a
Lagotto Romagnolo) came from GOTLAND / Sweden to join the Labradors.
April 14, 2007; Bloomfield
became Best Labrador puppy and 6 Best Puppy in Show in Limoges. Annabelle
won the bitch CACS/CACIB
March 8, 2007; At the
“Salon d`Agriculture” in Paris, Annabelle was placed third in her class.
This very special show was a great experience for both of us.
March 3, 2007, I judged the
Flatcoated Retriever and the Lagotto Romagnolo at the show in Groningen.

Akaba gave birth to 4 puppies. Beverly, a black bitch, stayed with us.
On Sept.2 nd, Annabelle won
the Champion class and Best Bitch titel at the Clubshow
of the French Retriever Club at Sully sur Loire.
Best male and Best of Breed was THANKS A LOT DE LA LEGENDE DE LA LOUTRE,
the father of F.H. Venetia (our Rosalie), Valleyfield Montargue and
Vermillion in Holland, Valdavia in Spain and Victoria in Austria.
With this win, "Black" became a French Champion!

August 27: 8 puppies were born out of Fogel Hlara Francis and English Touch
Venwood.
.
Jan. till Sept. 2006: a quiet period for us in
France. Annabelle just had 2 puppies in february.
Several Fogel Hlara dogs attended several shows
and were rewarded with excellent and nice placings: F.H.Harbourlight,
Valleyfield Montargue, Valdavia, Vern Venice and Alegre.

On Dec. 19 we had to put to sleep our beloved Donalbain Shadow. He was over 14
years of age. We owe him a lot!
.
December 3 & 4: the Winner show in Amsterdam took place. Fogel Hlara
Harbourlight and Fogel Hlara Valleyfield Montargue were placed second with
excellent in their classes and Fogel Hlara Vendee was placed fourth with
excellent in his class. A result to be proud of by the end of the
showseason.

November 5, Bleiswijk: Fogel Hlara Harbourlight won the Res.CAC for dogs.

August 28, Rotterdam:

February 5, 2005. I passed my judges-exam for the

October 30, 2004: the good news came from the Utrecht show, where Fogel Hlara
Harbourlight won the CAC/ CACIB and BOB. A great win for still such a young
dog! Many congratulations for his owner Ria Nijhof. This news brought some
"light" here in France for us , while we are coping with this
"dark" rabies period.

On Sept. 4 the clubshow of the French Retriever
Club took place at Sully sur Loire.
F H Francis was placed with 4 with Excellent. When we got home, there was
even better news from Germany. Fogel Hlara Higgins had won his first CAC in
Germany. Many congratulations for his owner Tanja Nordhues. For the next 6
months we will not be able to go to any show, due to the outbreak of rabies
in this area.
All dogactivities are suspended for a long period.

On 26 July 2004, after 4 months of known illness,
we lost our dear old Guinevere. We are so pleased, she still had great
months in assisting the mothers with the nursing of the 2 litters of
puppies, we had that time.
.
On July 4 we received the good news from Germany,
that Fogel Hlara Higgins had become "German Junior Champion".
Congratulations to his proud owner Tanja Nordhues.

On Saturday April 17 we had a great day at the
show in Limoges.
"Joep" won the Open Class, the CACS and the Res.CACIB in competition
with Taz, the husband of Annabelle and later the Worldwinner 2003. Later
that day, Annabelle, nicely looking because of her pregnancy, won the
Champion Class, the CACIB, the BOB and later in the afternoon she also won
the Group 8. My and our first GROUP win. A lovely day.(have a look at the

March 14: Ch. Annebelle of Clay Diggers has been
mated to Taz de la Region des Lacs (see PUPPIES for more
information).

Febr. 22: Int. Spec. show in Toulouse. Wetten E-Jolla and Fogel
Hlara Francis both won the Open Class and the Res.CACS. On the show I saw
"Taz de la Region des Lacs" for the first time. The young black
boy won the CACS, CACIB and BOB. I am very much interested in using him for
Annabelle, who will soon be in season and needs to be mated.

Jan 30, Febr 1: Mating of Fogel Hlara Akaba to
"Thank a Lot de la Légende de la Loutre" (see PUPPIES for more
information).

Jan. 18: The first show for me in the New Year, Bordeaux. Fogel Hlara Francis won the
Open Class with Exc.,later the RCACS/ RCACIB. Annabelle, not in het best
coat, just won the Champ. Class, but she was also good enough to be
"confirmed". Confirmation also for "Kato", who is
already in season and needs to be mated soon.

On Saturday, November 1, both brother and sister
Arnold and Annabelle of Clay Diggers won the CAC/ CACIB at Bleiswijk, which was their last
point to complete the Dutch Championship. Just recently Arnold followed his
sister Annabelle by winning the "Bundessieger". Both these dogs
will be shown at Crufts next March.

On Sepember 6, the French Retriever Club held her
annual Clubmatch. The for insiders known show of Dampierre took place at the Chateau of Sully sur Loire this
year. The girls did very well. Francis was placed third in the Breeders
Class. Annabelle won the Open Class and also took the CAC at this
prestigious show!
At the same day, Annabelle`s brother Arnold won
the CAC in Luxembourg and is
now a Luxembourg Champion.At the "little clubmatch" of the NLV
the next day, some puppies out of the -G- and -H- litter won very nice
placements in the young classes. All congratulated!

The last days of July brought some nice things.
Fogel Hlara Higgins (Arnold of Clay Diggers x Fogel Hlara Akaba) just 6
months old, was Best Puppy at the Luxemburg
show.
He was such an easy going puppy when we had him
here during that first weeks in France. I sometimes regret it again that we
let him go, not because of his new owner, but just that we miss this very nice
and easy going creature around us. Also pleasing was the result of the
re-newed Optigen test for us. Annabelle`s testresult changed and now she
has an -A- testresult, which will make it perhaps a bit easier to find her
a suitable partner next year.

On Friday, May 30, the World Show took place in Dortmund, Germany.
I was very pleased with the third place in the
Champion class of "Floris". Annabelle was entered. but she is so
very much out of coat, that she had to stay at home. She is now with us in
France.
.
On May 24 we attended the CACIB show in our new
area, Perigueux. The dogs
did very well. NL.Ch.Fogel Hlara Forever Young won the CACIB and BOB.
Later he was placed third in the Group. Wetten
E-Jolla won another Res CAC, but I was most pleased with the result of
Fogel Hlara Francis. At the age of just 18 months she won the CACIB and
CAC. Competing with "Floris" was just a little too much for her.
A great day for the clan.

At the Easter show in Leeuwarden two Fogel Hlara dogs kept the flag going for me.
Brother and sister Fogel Hlara East Chester and Fogel Hlara Eauclair
(children of Wetten E-Jolla) were first excellent in their classes. Fogel
Hlara Eau Clair became BOB in the end. Many congratulations to their
owner.

On April 12 we visited the first show here in
France at Limoges. All the
dogs were terribly out of coat, but in spite of that Wetten E-Jolla won the
Open Class and later the Res. CAC. Fogel Hlara Francis was Best Junior. A
pleasing result at our first appearence.

On March 25 we all moved to France, except for
Annabelle who stayed behind with Rik and Simone Verbeeck, her breeders. At
the Leiden show on March 30,
Annabelle won the CAC and BOB, handled perfectly by her breeder.
She has by now all the points to be a Dutch champion,
but she is still to young to gain that title.

At Crufts
0n March 6, Annabelle of Clay Diggers was placed fourth in the Mid Limit
Class. The largest and strongest quality class of the bitches. A real big
thrill to achieve this result in the UK!
.
On March 2, in Zuidlaren, Annabelle of Clay Diggers was placed third in Open
Class and F.H. Francis was placed fourth in Junior Class.
.
On January 31 Annabelle of Clay Diggers won
another CAC in Eindhoven.
.
On October 26, Annabelle of Clay Diggers won the
Res CAC at the Utrecht show.
F.H. Alexandra being runner up again. A week later Annabelle won her first
real CAC, judge Annemieke van Luyk. She is now more than half way for her
Dutch Championship title. She also won a second VDH CAC in Germany, midth
November. Alexandra being second in Open again.

October 18, Dortmund was once more a very successful day. Annabelle of
Clay Diggers became Bundessiegerin 2002.
Fogel Hlara Alexandra was 2 Exc in Open and Res
CAC. Fogel Hlara Francis was 4 Exc. in Junior at her first official
show.

Annabelle of Clay Diggers, 1 Exc Res CAC and Fogel Hlara Alexandra 4 Exc in
Open.

August 31, Rotterdam
Lots of success for Joep`s children: Fogel Hlara East Chester,1 Exc in Junior,
Evergreen van de Peppelenbosch 1 Exc, Res CAC in Intermediate and Fogel
Hlara Alexandra 1 Exc in Open Res CACIB.
Fogel Hlara Firth of Forth (granddaughter of Joep)
was 2 in Junior, Joep himself was 2 Exc.in Open.

On August 7 we lost our beloved Ch Balnova Sultan.
"Pip" died of old age.
He is very sadly missed by all of us people and
dogs.

Wetten E-Jolla: excellent in Open Dog.
Joep`s children, F.H.East Chester and Daragh v/d
Zwarte Waterlanden did very well by being second excellent in their
classes.
ANNABELLE OF CLAY DIGGERS WON THE JUNIOR CLASS
(entry 114), her brother Arnold was third excellent in Breeders.
Fogel Hlara Bow was placed number 7, out of 82
bitches in the Intermediate Class.
Fogel Hlara Francis was placed as third in Puppy.
She follows in Floris`s footsteps. He also started his showcareer by being
third in Puppy and ended up as a champion! Francis`s sister F.H.Firth of
Forth was placed as number 8. A super result for these young sisters!
19 May 2002: FOGEL HLARA FOREVER YOUNG is now DUTCH CHAMPION.
Floris finished in style at the show in Arnhem by
winning the BOB.
Fogel Hlara East Chester was rewarded with 2
excellent in Junior (his debut); well done.
On May,5 the European Dogshow in Dortmund took place.
F H Forever Young was second in the Champ.class, F
H Alexandra was second in Open And Wetten E-Jolla and Annabelle were only
rewarded with excellent.

On Saturday, April 27 the LCD organized an
Outdoorshow in Bochem,
Germany. Annabelle, completely out of coat, surprised us all by being
second in Junior. F H Bow was rewarded with third excellent in Open; “Joep”
won fourth in Open. Francis`s her father
( Tweedledum Crispy Duck) was lucky to win the BOB. Today, Yesterday had
her puppies, lots of bitches. Congratulations!!!

The Eastershow
was held on April 1. Alexandra won third in Open, Annabelle just had an
excellent and no placing (this is the first time she was not placed! ).
Floris was second in Open and was lucky enough to get the Res CAC. One Res
CAC to go before his final title!
I was very pleased that Beppe Gernico (one of
Joep`s daughters) won the Intermediate Class on her first time out.
Congratulations.

March 17 Show Aalst in Belgium. Arnold of Clay Diggers (Floris`s yellow son)
became BOB, Best Youngster in Show and third in Group.
What an achiefment for such a young dog! Many
congratulations!!!!

March 17:show Roosendaal. Alexandra fourth exc.in Open.

March 3: show Zuidlaren. Floris again second exc. in Open, Annabelle, third
exc. in Junior, but Bow surprised us by winning the Intermediate Class.

On 24/25 february F H Yesterday was mated again to
Floris. Annabelle and Arnold and the other offspring of the first litter
are doing so well, that it is worth repeating the combination.

On Febr. 2 , 2002 at the Eindhoven show, Floris (F H Forever Young) was second exc. in
Open, his daughter Annabelle was first exc. in Junior, but Alexandra made
us all quite happy by not only winning the Open Class, the bitch CAC, the
BOB and last but not least, she was 6 in the Group!! A great thrill for her
keeper/handler Sue Thexton.

This year started almost as good as last year
ended (Winner title, two Bundessieger titles).
